The Romanian people have created, but also adopted proverbs about money. As with any other people, over time, messages have been transmitted from one generation to another, through what we call proverbs. These either motivate us to do a certain thing or demotivate us; as is the case with work, for example. If we talk about work (it is part of financial education 😊) we find proverbs that motivate us to work and help us to be dignified in our work, such as: “Work is a golden bracelet”, but there are also proverbs that demotivate us to work, such as: “leave for tomorrow what you can do today!” (if you knew the one with the negation in front of the phrase it is perfect, but there is this one too) or: “No one got rich on honest work.” which makes you stop working… or not honestly, in any case.
That’s why we’ve selected 15 proverbs that help you become financially educated and 15 proverbs that don’t help you become financially educated, but rather demotivate you to do so.
Let’s see them!

In life, choose to do what helps you to reach what you set out to do; to achieve your financial goals. As you can see, the world is divided and “helps you” as it knows how. If you talk to someone who means well to you, but doesn’t know much about money, then, without any bad intention, they are demotivating you to become financially prosperous, to evolve and to achieve your goals. That’s why they say: “be careful who you surround yourself with”, because depending on who you surround yourself with, that’s how you will be or you define yourself by the group of people you spend time with, and if they don’t look like you, you will soon end up looking like them because you will change and be like them. “Those who look alike, flock together!” So I invite you to be part of the group of financially educated people and join us here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/psihologiabanilor
